Nature
Rila is a mountain range in southwestern Bulgaria and the highest mountain of the Balkans, with its highest peak Musala (2,925 m). It is also the sixth highest mountain in Europe. The most interesting area of Rila are under protaction and form Rila National Park. Some of the Balkans' longest and deepest rivers originate from Rila, including the Maritsa.
